Hello, book lovers! 💕
So today I thought I’d share the book(s) that I’m currently reading. I’ll probably be reading these for the next couple weeks if I’m being honest. I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s been taking me a long time to get through books, mainly because I’ve been working a full time job and just haven’t had the time to sit down and read, unless it’s listening to an audiobook (which I do a lot of in order to squeeze some reading in).
I’ve also been using my kindle a lot lately so I can read right before bed, but have the light off.
Anyway, I digress. So without any further ado, let’s get onto the books that I’m currently reading!
The main book I just started reading is Take Me Home Tonight by Morgan Matson. I’m not too far into it right now, maybe 25%, but I’m really enjoying it.
I’m probably biased because I’ve really enjoyed all of Morgan Matson’s books in the past. I’ve read them all. Some of them more than once. So it’s no surprise that I’m enjoying this one too.
Although I’m also kind of surprised I’m enjoying it as much as I am because lately I’ve been having a love-hate relationship with YA fiction. Most of the books in that genre that I’ve read I didn’t really enjoy all that much. I took it as I’m outgrowing the genre, which I probably still am considering I’m way older than the 17 or 18-year-olds who are being depicted in the books.
But Morgan Matson has always been a favorite author of mine, and for some reason, I don’t find her characters to be that immature or cliché.
The other book that I just started is One Piece volume 26. It’s been a while since I’ve read a One Piece manga, and I’d been itching to get back into the world. Plus they’re such short and quick reads that I’m able to get through them pretty quickly.
So there you have it. Those are the books that I’m currently reading.
