Hello, book lovers! 💕

I feel like I haven’t started that many series recently, but there are a few that I have started that I really want to get to and hopefully finish this year. Also there are some series that aren’t completely published yet, but I want to catch up on them. Or the next book is coming out relatively soon and I want to keep an eye out for it so I can pick it up.
I’m not usually good at continuing or finishing series, so this list is going to be a way of holding me accountable.
But anyway. Without any further ado, let’s get onto the series that I want to finish!

I’ve mentioned that I was in the middle of reading the Lumberjanes graphic novels by Noelle Stevenson many times, and I still am, though I’m not as far into the series as I would like to be. I’m pretty sure I’m on volume 5 out of 16.
I would like to finish this series by the end of the year, so that’d mean I would have to read a couple volumes (or more) a month. Which isn’t too bad. It’s completely doable considering it take me a day or two to get through one. I’d just need to set aside a weekend to read a couple.
The next series is one that is complete and all the books are released, so I really have no excuse as to why I haven’t picked the rest up. And that is The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. I read the first two books in this series, and I really want to get to the other two.

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson would be a perfect series to binge during Halloween. And it’s one of the series that I want to get to this year. I’ve only read the first book in the series, and there are now three books out now, and the fourth book comes out this year in June. So I really have no excuse as to why I shouldn’t finish this series.

I also read a couple books of The Last Magician series by Lisa Maxwell. I’m not sure how many books are going to be in this series, but currently there are three books published. I think the reason I haven’t picked the next book up is because it’s been a while since I’ve read the previous two books, and they’re really long books and rereading them would take a long time. So when I do end up getting around to the next book in the series (The Serpent’s Curse), I’ll probably find a summary of what happened in the previous book to refresh my memory.
The next couple of series I read the first book right when it was released, so I’m waiting for the next one to be released.

The first series is All The Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace. The first in the series was released last year, and I read it pretty much right after it was published. And I’m pretty sure that the second book has been released last month. I’m not sure what’s keeping me from picking it up other than the fact that I can’t afford to buy books right now. Though, if I’m being honest, I probably will get it on audiobook since that’s the way that I read the first book.

The other series is These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong. And this was the most recent read out of all the series I’ve mentioned. I read this back in February, and now I have to wait until next year to read the sequel. I think this is just a duology, so once I read the next book, the series will be over which is nice because I’m not particularly fond of extremely long, drawn out series.

So there you have it. Those are the series that I want to finish. I’m sure there are more that I could have added to this list, but these are the main one that I could think of.
What series do you want to finish? Have you read or started any of these? I’d love to chat about them in the comments below!

I’m also horrible at finishing series. I start them all the time, but hardly ever get to the second book!
