Books to Read in May | 2021

Hello, book lovers! 💕

I can’t believe it’s already May. It’s crazy to think that this year is almost half over already. But at least it’s nice to have some warmer weather to be able to spend time outside (even though where I live, the weather can’t seem to make up its mind: one day it’s freezing, the next day it’s scalding).

And as always, I’m not sure what I want to read this month. Though it’ll probably consist of many adult romances as well as audiobooks. I don’t know what it is about the warmer weather that makes me want light, fluffy reads but here we are.

Anyway, without any further ado, let’s get onto the books that I’m hoping to read in May!

The first book I have on my list is one that I had mentioned that I wanted to read last month. But I didn’t get around to it. And that book is Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert. I read the first book in this companion series a few months ago and really enjoyed it, and I bought this one for my Kindle when I finished the first one but haven’t gotten around to it. So I hope that this month is the month that I do.

I also mentioned last month that I wanted to read the next couple volumes of Lumberjanes by Noelle Stevenson. And again, I wasn’t able to get to them last month, so I’m rolling them over into this month. I don’t know how many volumes I will be able to get to, but I think I’ll put the next two on this list. Maybe I’ll get to more than that, but I won’t hold myself to that.

The other book that I think I’ll get to this month is the next book in the Harry Potter series, which I’m on book 5 now. It’s not my favorite one in the series, but I’m in the process of rereading it so of course I’m going to have to read it. Though I’ll be listening to it on audiobook, but same thing.

Other than those few books, this month is pretty open in terms of the books that I want to read. Anything is fair game. I’m not going to add much more to this list at this point only because I don’t want to stress myself out with the amount of books on my TBR. Plus I don’t want to put books on this list that I might not be in the mood to read just for the sake of having a longer monthly TBR.

So there you have it. Those are the books that I want to read in the month of May. What books are you planning on reading this month? I’d love to chat about them in the comments below!
