Hello, book lovers! 💕
I feel like I’ve been reading the same book for the last couple of weeks. Which I kind of have been. Though I’ve started another one even though I’m in the middle of reading one.
Honestly I’m just happy that I’m reading at all, even if I’m taking my time getting through a book. I haven’t always been in the mood to read some days, and I’m coming to terms with the fact that there are going to be days where I just want to watch TV or something.
Anyway, without any further ado, let’s get onto the books that I’m in the middle of reading.
So I think I might have mentioned that I was reading Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert. I’m still reading it. I feel like I’ve been reading it for weeks even though it’s only been maybe a little over a week.

But I’ve made really good progress in it. I have maybe 100 pages left in it so I’m hoping to get it done this weekend. Hopefully. Maybe. We’ll see. I’m really enjoying it regardless.
It’s a really good romance book that I didn’t know that I was in the mood to read until I started reading it. It’s equal parts heartwarming with the banter between the two main characters and equal parts steamy romance.
The other book that I’m in the middle of reading I started randomly, and that book is A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas. Which is a book that I mentioned I wanted to read when I posted my March TBR. I wound up getting the audiobook for it, and I’ve been listening to it while I draw or play on my Nintendo Switch.

I’m not that far into it, and I plan on taking my time with it. If it takes all month, then so be it. I figured if I started it in the beginning of the month, I might have a chance of finishing by the end of the month, or maybe even sooner considering I’m able to get through audiobooks pretty quickly.
Luckily I didn’t have to read the previous books in this series again (those books are huge and would take me forever to read). Sarah J. Maas did a pretty good job at prefacing what happened in the last book, which is good since it’s been four years since the last book was released and I read it. My memory was a little hazy with some of the details, so I’m glad she added a prologue in the beginning to recap what happened.
I’m not sure what I’m going to read when I finish these books. I’ll probably pick up the next volume of Lumberjanes by Noelle Stevenson. I’ve been really enjoying the comic series, and I’m looking forward to getting to the next volumes.
So there you have it. Those are the books that I’m currently reading and the books that I’m thinking about reading next.
Have you read any of these books that I mentioned? Do you plan on reading any of them? What books are you currently reading right now? I’d love to chat about them in the comments below!

I know how you feel! I don’t want it to end either, even though I’m flying through it 🙈 I forgot how addictive Sarah J. Maas’s books can be.

I’m reading so many books right now because I like ✨chaos✨ apparently. I’ve been reading These Violent Delights, Something to Talk About, Wundersmith and American Royals 2. But I’m only like a chapter or two into all of them…and guess who’s about to start the audiobook for Six of Crows? It’s me. 😂
