The Bookish Blog Tag

Hello, book lovers! 💕

I figured I’d do a tag today since I was tagged by the lovely Becca over at Toastie Books. A big thank you to her for tagging me!

So without any further ado, let’s get onto the tag!

Rules:

  1. Make sure you thank the blogger who nominated you and include a link to their blog.
  2. Answer all of the following questions.
  3. Include the blog tag graphic and these rules on your post.
  4. Nominate 3 or more bloggers at the bottom of your post, including their name and their blog’s link.

What are 1-3 of your favourite books of all time?

It goes without say that my top favorite book of all time is The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune. But right there with that one has to be The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab and The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

What are 1-3 of your favourite authors of all time?

Oof, that’s a tough one because I think there are more than three. But if I had to choose, those three would be:

  • Becky Albertalli
  • Elizabeth Acevedo
  • Morgan Matson

Who is your favourite female character from a book?

Again, this is another tough one because I feel like there are so many. I think I’ll go with the main character of the book I’m currently reading: Bree Matthews from Legendborn by Tracy Deonn. She is such a strong willed character with so much personality. She’s stubborn and doesn’t let anyone push her around.

Who is your favourite male character from a book?

Linus Baker from The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune. There is something charming about him, and I absolutely love it.

What’s your favourite fictional world?

Well, I could go with the fictional world from The House in the Cerulean Sea, but I just used that in the last answer. My default answer is always the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. So I’ll just leave those two.

What book has your favourite book cover?

I’m just going to leave these book covers here:

What’s your favourite book-to-movie adaptation?

I don’t think I’ve watched many book-to-movie adaptations recently (the exception being Harry Potter). And the ones I have watched weren’t nearly as good as the books.

If you could make any book into a movie, which would it be?

I agree with Becca that Legendborn by Tracy Deonn is made to be a movie or tv series. I’m not even done with it yet, and I think that it should become a movie or tv show or something.

What was your favourite childhood book?

I read many of The Magic Tree House books when I was a kid.

Fantasy or Sci-fi (or neither)?

I’ve never really been a fan of sci-fi; I’ve read a bunch of books from that genre, and I just couldn’t get into them. So it’s definitely going to be fantasy for me.

I tag:

[ Joanna @ TheGeekishBrunette | J (Midnight Book Blog) | Fiction Fixer | Amanda @ Literary Weaponry | Kristin @ Kristin Kraves Books | Evelynreads ]

If you weren’t tagged but want to do the tag, feel free to link me to your post so I can check out your answers! And don’t feel pressured to do this tag if tags aren’t your thing.

And there you have it! The Bookish Blog Tag! Thank you again to Becca for tagging me in this; it was a lot of fun to answer these questions!

I am a twenty-something-year-old who is an avid reader. I love anything from young adult fantasy to adult fiction to young adult contemporary. I also love to play video games and draw and watch movies and TV shows. And this is my safe space where I can gush about everything I love.
