Hello, book lovers! 💕

So I think this is the first time that while writing one of these types of posts that I’m not actually currently reading anything. I’m kind of between books at the moment.

I recently finished five books already this month (even though the month only just started). Most of them were comics, so they were pretty short at less than 100 pages each, and I was able to finish them in an hour or so. But I still count them as books.

Those comics were Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Search parts 1-3 as well as Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Rift part 1. I basically read these back to back in pretty much one day. I love being back with these characters. Anyone who loves the TV show and hasn’t picked these up (I might be a little late to the bandwagon on these), should definitely give them a try!

I definitely plan on continuing on in the series just so I can find out more about what happens to the characters. I have grown so attached to them at this point that these have been all that I’ve wanted to read the past few days. I read through them so fast that I feel like I could read all of them in one day. Not that I would because I want to savor each one for as long as I can. Meaning I have to try to restrain myself from reading all of them this month.

The other book that I finished I actually listened to on audiobook, so it’s no surprise that I was able to get it done so quickly. That book is The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson. It’s also a reread for me. I read this book at least two other times before this recent read. Those other times I read this book so slowly. I think I finished it in a weekend this time around. I loved listening to the audiobook. The narrator was so wonderful to listen to, and I felt myself being sucked into the story all over again like it was my first time reading it.

I’m not really sure what I’m going to pick up next since that’s why I’m not currently reading anything at the moment. I have a few on my TBR for this month that I obviously haven’t gotten to yet, but I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for. I want to continue rereading books like I was planning on doing this month, though there are other books that I want to read too. But I’m not sure where I want to start.

These are the ones I had in mind:

What do you guys think? Which of these books should I read next? Also, what books have you picked up so far this month or plan on picking up? I’d love to know in the comments below!

I am a twenty-something-year-old who is an avid reader. I love anything from young adult fantasy to adult fiction to young adult contemporary. I also love to play video games and draw and watch movies and TV shows. And this is my safe space where I can gush about everything I love.

  1. The Poet X was a great read and I would definitely recommend the audiobook if you can get your hands on it because it’s read by Acevedo and it just adds a whole other dimension of awesome to the story! I recently bought One to Watch and I can’t wait to read it. It sounds great! Hope you find something to suit your mood 🙂
