#perusereadathon TBR

Hello, book lovers! 💕

In light of everything that’s going on in the world today and social distancing, Regan from PeruseProject on YouTube, is hosting a readathon of sorts this weekend. There aren’t any challenges to follow; it’s just a way to connect with others during this time of isolation. And what better way do that than through books?

So I don’t have a specific TBR for this readathon. I recently picked up Verity by Colleen Hoover, though I’m not that far into it. I picked it up randomly during the week because Colleen Hoover had a sale going on for a couple days where some of her books are free on Kindle.

I’m only a couple chapters into the book, and I’m hoping to get further into it this weekend. If I, by some miracle, finish Verity, I might also pick up The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker on Kindle. I’ve been in the mood for romance books lately, mainly because they’re pretty quick and fun reads. So I don’t really know much about these books other than I enjoyed these authors in the past. And they were pretty cheap on Amazon. I can’t pass up cheap books, especially when they’re by authors that I’ve previously loved.

Though this is the same weekend that Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes out on the Nintendo Switch. So honestly, this tentative TBR might be a tad ambitious. I might not get any reading done this weekend. Or I might finish one or both of these books. Who knows?

But let’s be honest, once I get my hands on Animal Crossing, I might not get any reading done, unless it’s in audiobook form.

I know this readathon is kind of last minute, and I wasn’t even sure if I was going to participate, but do any of you guys plan on joining in on it? Though even if you’re not, what books do you plan on reading this weekend? And what books have you read so far during this isolating time?

I hope all of you are staying safe. Happy reading!
